Sports and activities
Sports and other activities are unique arguments to come to Lac des Varennes, as the range of such activities is wide at Marçon and itse surroundings!
Things to do in, on and around the water: Swimming, beach, rowing, water cycling, canoing, kayaking, sailing, water-skiing, jet-skiing etc., this is all possible in the direct neighbourhood of Marçon.
Theme-parcs: From paintball, to Go-karting and many more fun-activities between family and friends.
The Zoo: One of Europes most beautiful Zoo is the La Flèche-zoo (at 45 minutes distance). " Learn to know better, to protect better"
Walks or rides (16 to 52 km): By foot (with or without the Nordic Walking poles), bicycle (for rent at the reception of your camp-site), or horse, the region offers you lots of different roads to follow. What to think of a nice long walk in the forest of Bercé (5400 ha, and over 300 km of mountain-bike tracks) with its sources and oaks of hunderd years old, or walks between de vineyards, in the cities and towns or along the border of the Loir and do not forget the kayaking.
And of course do not forget to enjoy kayaking, for nice trips on the lake or on the river, the loir, departing from the camp-site.
